Welcome to Uplands Park School

Welcome to Uplands Park School (UPS)! UPS enrolls approximately 340 students from Kindergarten to Gr. 7 from the Uplands neighborhood.  Staff, students and parents work together to create and support a positive culture of learning. We provide opportunities for each student to reach a high level of achievement in arts, academics, attitude (service/citizenship) and athletics, within a safe and respectful learning community.  We are committed to supporting students find meaningful ways to access learning.

Our School Vision

Our school vision is to create a place of curiosity, connections and thoughtful conversations for responsible learners of all ages.

Students will respect differences, set challenging expectations and feel comfortable about taking responsible risks. Learning activities of all sorts will encourage a child’s ability to reason, foster responsibility, cultivate citizenship, nurture positive attitudes towards healthy habits and well being, and embrace wonder and imagination. A thinking, caring and believing in oneself attitude will instill the confidence and skills necessary for continuous learning.
